Born in Fresno, California, and raised on a ranch in Madera, Nayely Frausto is a first-generation Latina artist whose story is as grounded as it is inspiring. Growing up surrounded by horses, open skies, and the rhythm of ranch life, Nayely learned early the values of hard work, humility, and community. Music became her language ̶ blending the storytelling heart of country with the vibrant emotion of Latin music.
With a sound that fuses the soul of Linda Ronstadt and the modern edge of Lainey Wilson, Nayely brings an authentic voice that transcends borders. Her performances move effortlessly between country, pop, rock, and Latin genres, creating a sound that is both familiar and refreshingly unique. Nayely performs with some of the San Joaquin Valley’s most respected musicians ̶ including Randy Robinson (Valley Cats), Simon Palacios (Aubrey Road, Hired Gun), and Kevin James (Mr. Rude). The rhythm section is powered by 21-year-old drummer Jacob Selway, a newcomer to the Valley’s music scene who brings years of skill from high school drumline and Fresno City College’s jazz program. The fact that Jacob now performs alongside some of the region’s top players says everything about his talent, work ethic, and bright future.
Currently, Nayely is writing and recording her debut EP while performing across California. Her shows blend emotional storytelling with cultural pride ̶ songs that reflect love, strength, and identity while celebrating the beauty of being both American and Latina.
